Baseball!

Jodie and I were offered tickets to the Durham Bulls game and of course we jumped on them. Our friends, Luke and Emily, and their 2 girls joined us. We weren't sure how the girls were going to do, as it was a 7:00 game, but we went on thinking that we'd stay as long as they would let us. I'm telling you that they were GREAT! The ballgame went in to extra innings but the girls just sat on our laps and did great. And for a bonus - fireworks when it was all over. Our seats were right behind the Bull's dugout, which is where Wool E. Bull does most of his dancing. Sam just loved Wool E. Bull, until we decided to get their picture. She wasn't a big fan then, as you can see. Sam talked about Wool E Bull and the fact that Daddy had taken her picture and that she was crying all the way home! All the excitement and the fact that it was almost midnight took it out of Sam, and she fell asleep in the car on the way home. We had a really, really good time. Thanks Dr. Borden!
