Silly Girls

I've already told you that Georgia loves her mobile. So when it comes time to put laundry away or clean up their room a little, Georgia gets to spend a little quality time with her favorite toy. Every once in a while, Sam wants to join her. So she'll climb into the crib and play with her. It is so sweet and it always turns into a giggly photo shoot. They are so silly!

Slumber Party All Weekend Long!

We have some friends who have 3 girls under the age of 4. Their oldest, Ginny Grace, is one of Sam's best friends. And their youngest is 6 weeks older than Gerogia. We giggle about the fact that we have our own basketball team, though we dont' see eye to eye about where they should play (Emily was a cheerleader at Carolina). Anyway, we had a slumber weekend at their house in December. We had a great time. We babysat Friday night while they went out and they kept all the kids Saturday night while Jodie and I went to his work Christmas party. Great weekend. Can't wait to do it again.

Christmas Card Photo Shoot

So we had this great idea for a Christmas card photo this year. We had a lot of fun figuring out how the timer feature on the camera works and were able to get a couple of good pics. But, of course, I never did get the cards ordered! So, Merry Christmas BLOG style!!!

Loving the Mobile

Georgia truly loves her mobile. She will sit there for what seems like forever and just watch that thing go round and round, kicking her legs, flaling her arms, and talking the whole time. So cute.

3 Months, Already!

I can't believe that Georgia Peach is 3 months old already. Where does the time go? Her are a couple pics of her on her birthday.

The Deer Slayer

Jodie got his main Christmas present early this year. Both of our families and I went in together and bought him a rifle for deer hunting. He was really excited about it. We gave it to him on Thanksgiving day so that he would have time to use it this year before the season is over. And what do you know, he took it hunting on Friday and killed a deer with his first shot!!! First shot with his new gun - first deer. I was so proud!

Thanksgiving

What a whirlwind of a weekend Thanksgiving turned out to be. First, we went to my parents' house for a couple of days, then to my brother's house for a night (more on that later) and then to Jodie's sister's house. We made it home at like 8:30pm Sunday night. Both girls were absolutely wonderful and were very adaptable as we packed and unpacked over and over. Fun times. Most of Jodie's family had not met Georgia yet, so we really enjoyed showing her off to everyone.

Cute November Pics

There are really no stories behind any of these - just us having fun. Enjoy.

Thanksgivig Feast at School

Sam's preshool hosted a Thanksgiving Feast for all the parents. It was so much fun. All the parents brought in a dish for the meal and the kids (well, the teacher) sang a few songs for us. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen. Sam was grinning from ear to ear the entire time. Great memories.

Quick Visit with Pop Pop and Janice

Pop Pop and Janice made a day trip up to see us and meet little Georgia Peach the weekend before Thanksgiving. Though it was short, we had a really good visit with them. We even made it over to Aunt Dottie and Uncle Bruce's house for a few minutes, which was fine with us - we LOVE showing off our girls!

Bathtime

Georgia loves her bathtimes. A friend gave us a baby tub that fits perfectly in the sink, which is great because it doesn't hurt my back. And she loves getting sprayed with the sink sprayer. This is one of my favorite things to do with her.
