Sam has really started taking an interest in her books, especially the "lift-the-flap" books. She will sit on the floor and "read" each and every page, making sure to lift the flap to see what's underneath.

Helping Mom with Laundry

Sam loves to help me with the laundry. When she's finished pulling all the clothes out of the hamper, she likes to crawl in and out of it herself. I keep waiting on her to make it roll across the room.

Thank Goodness for Highchair Seatbelts!

Sam must think she's Houdini because the tries everyday to get out of this highchair. She always finds herself is quite the predicament.

What a Big Day We Had

We had such a big day last Sunday. We went for our first real bike ride. We rode a little over 12 miles and Sam loved it! She sang to Jodie almost the whole way. She did manage to sneak a 15 minute nap in while we were riding. So, she decided that she didn't need a nap for the rest of the day. After many attempts to get her to sleep, we finaly gave up and let her have it her way. That night, I put her in the high chair and before I could even get the food to her tray she was sound asleep. How precious!

Sam's First Bike

Jodie and I got bikes for each other for our anniversary gifts and a seat and helmet for Sam. When we got the seat installed on Jodie's bike, he took her for a ride. I think she really enjoyed it, and she's so cute in her hat! I hope this will be a favorite pass-time for all of us. Check her out:

This Little Girl Loves Spaghetti!

I am sure that everyone has a picture just like this of the first time they fed their child spaghetti. But seeing things like this never gets old for me. She had so much fun eating this evening. And she just giggled and giggled as she spread the sauce through her hair. What a fun night!

The Home Search Has Come To an End!!!!!!!!!

We have finally found a house. Everyone has signed the contract, so we just have to wait for closing. But, it's a done deal. Here are some pictures of it.

Sam's First Trip to the Pool

Well, we finally managed to get Sam to the pool at our apartment complex and she loved it. We bought her a little float so that she could get the whole experience. She floated around that pool for about 20 minutes before we made her get out. It was a lot of fun.

Shrek Castle at Mt. Mitchell

Sam and I went to visit my mother last week. We had a really good time. My nephews had just been there, so the Shrek Castle was still set up. Sam wasn't sure what to think at first, but by the end of the week, she owned that castle! She'd crawl in the front door and out the back. We had such a good time. Thanks, Mom, for having us! We love you!

Here I Come!

Sam has gotten so tired of all the same toys. So, I took a trip to Toys R Us to see what I could find. It was a big hit! She's been pushing this thing around ever since.
