I Want Some of That!

When we were at my parents' for Easter, Mom baked a cake to celebrate Thomas and my birthdays. We each blew out a candle and everyone got a slice. Well, everyone except Sam. You can see that she really wanted a taste of her own.

Sleeping in a "Big Girl Bed"

We went to Mt. Mitchell to visit with my parents and brother's family over the Easter weekend. Sam had to sleep on a fold-out couch with pillows all around her. Friday afternoon, she was so sleepy. So I put her in the bed for a little nap and she fell asleep with her face in the pillow. It was really cute, but we were too worried to let her stay that way. So after taking the picture, I quietly rolled her over.

Time For Our Walk

Every morning, Sam, Daisy and I try to take a walk. It gives us a chance to get out of our tiny apartment and get some fresh air and exercise. Here's a picture of my girls waiting on Mom.

But That's My Toy!

Every once in a while Sam will get a hold of one of Daisy's toys. It's quite funny because Daisy keeps looking at her, expecting Sam to throw it.

Sam has beautiful blue eyes. We've always heard that blue eyes are very sensitive and that we should protect them as much as possible. So, i bought her som sunglasses. The only problem is that she won't leave them on her head. She would rather play with them.

Daisy, Wake Up!!!

I'm Flying, I'm Flying!!!

This isn't the greatest picture, but I wanted to share it anyway. We get on the floor and play with Sam everyday. We mostly spend time enticing her to crawl. It's so funny! Here is a picture of her attempt to crawl. She puts her arms and legs in the air and moves them as if she were crawling. But it looks like she's trying to fly.

She's a Busy Little Bee!

Sam just loves playing with her toys these days. She rather be on the floor with a stack of toys than anywhere else on earth. It's so much fun watching her explore new things.

Sam just loves this monkey. Jodie and I bought it for her way back before she was born. It's great to see her finally playing with it.

Sam has just started to sit up on her own, and she loves it. It throws me for a loop each time we reach a new milestone. I can't believe how fast she's growig up.
