Yes, Daisy, We still love you!!!

Daisy had a hard time adjusting to having Sam around. She was so used to being our #1, that she didn't know what to do with herself.

We were finally released from the hospital Saturday morning.thank goodness, because the walls were starting to close in on me! Here is Sam meeting her "sister", Daisy, for the first time.

So Many Visitors, So Little Time!

Here's Nana (Carrie's Mom) visiting with her newest grandbaby.

Gene and Angie Ownbey (our Pastor and his wife, also our neighbors) were with us the entire time and were Sam's first visitors after the birth. We appreciate all of their prayers and support throughout the whole process, they were great.

PopPop (Jodie's Dad) and Janice also came to see Samantha on her birthday.

Pop's (Carrie's Dad) already wrapped around her little finger.

Uncle Joe and Aunt JoJo came to hang out!

Miscellaneous Hospital Pictures

Feed Me Seymore!!!

After not eating for 18 hours, mom was REALLY hungry and the hospital food just didn't hit the spot, so Dad ran down to the Subway and saved the day.

And Baby Makes Three!

We checked into the hospital at midnight on September 8. But little Sam decided that she wasn't quite ready to join us after all. So, with a little help from a pitocin drip, Sam was finally born on 2:22pm. She weighed in at 8lbs 4.4oz and was 19.5 inches long. How perfect!

The Waiting Game

Well, we went to the Doctor's office this morning and were told that our little Sam would probably be joining our world before September 20th. Things are progressing, so now its just a matter of time. If you know Sam's mom, you know that she is no good at the waiting game and that she is going absolutely insane! We can't wait to meet our little girl for the first time. We are so excited. We'll keep you posted.

Make Room for Baby!

Well, Sam's room is pretty close to being done. We're just waiting on that rocking chair and a closet door and oh yes, a baby! We are pretty pleased with the room. Thank you to everyone who helped us with it!

We'll Be Rockin' Away

Jodie's mother gave us a rocking chair that belonged to her Uncle Ed. It was a little rough around the edges, so we decided to recover the seat and paint the chair yellow. Jodie set up a paint booth for the job and started spraying. It looks good so far. Can't wait to see the finished project!
