Since we live so far away from all our family, we always spend weekends with both sides around Christmas to celebrate the season. Jodie's mom works at Belk's and a few years ago we discovered that if we wait until the weekend after Christmas to go there, she is usually able to get some time off and is a lot more relaxed and able to enjoy the visit. So, this year, the Friday after Christmas we headed to Jodie's Sister's house and stayed until New Year's Day. We had so much fun! The kids played from sun up to sun down. One day, Sam got so pooped, she fell asleep in the middle of all the commotion. It was really quite funny. Here are a few pics:
