Well, after Halloween, we had a party to plan for! My Dad turned 60 this year and we had a suprise party for him. His entire family from Virginia came down for the surprise, most of whom we hadn't seen since last June, and 1 who we had never met (she was born in March). So, it was absolutely wonderful, and yes, he was very surprised! We had a great visit with all of our family and celebrated the big 60 with a big bang and LOTS of chicken (we had 4 whole chickens left over). Sam was so excited about the presents and wanted to open them all. We kept telling her that we had to wait til Pop got there. And when he did, I guess she thought the presents were fair game because I looked over and there whe was opening the gifts all by herself! It was so funny! And then she got her hands on a camara and started walking around taking pictures, only she had the camara pointing towards herself instead of away from her. Fortunely, it was a disposable camara and all the pictures had already been taken by her cousin, Thomas. There's no telling what's on that camara! What made the day even more fun? State played Carolina that day and won! My cousins are Carolina fans, so it was great! And Sam was all decked out in her State clothes, just for them. Here are a few pics of all our fun:
